Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking information about existing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that can support the federal acquisition lifecycle. The CDC plans to host a limited number of companies to demonstrate commercially available AI capabilities to a select audience of government acquisition professionals. The purpose of these presentations is to increase awareness of current AI solutions that may improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of acquisition processes. • The CDC is interested in AI tools that can support acquisition planning, market research, requirements development, solicitation preparation, proposal evaluation, contract administration, and closeout. • Vendors will be expected to attend a virtual session to present their existing AI tool(s) with approximately 30 minutes allocated to the presentation and 15 minutes allocated to questions and answers. • Capability statements shall reference the specific tool(s) or capabilities available and discuss whether currently used by other agencies or commercial companies or whether still in development. • The capability statement should identify the specific acquisition issues or concerns being addressed.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $1,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as it is a request for information and not a procurement action. However, if the CDC decides to procure AI tools or services in the future, the budget could range from $100,000 to $1,000,000, depending on the complexity and scope of the project. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the type and number of AI tools or services required, the duration of the project, and the level of expertise and resources needed to implement the solution.
