Stormwater Backflow Preventor

The City of South Daytona is soliciting bids for a Stormwater Backflow Preventor. The project involves furnishing, delivering, and ensuring operational readiness of one 54-inch backflow preventer for a 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) stormwater system. The backflow preventer must be specifically designed for stormwater applications, provide a watertight seal under reverse flow conditions, and allow unrestricted discharge during normal operations. The assembly must be constructed of durable, corrosion-resistant materials and capable of withstanding anticipated hydraulic loads, debris impact, and long-term submergence. • The project is federally assisted and subject to Federal Labor Standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Act. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and award the contract based on the best interest of the City. • The bid must be submitted electronically through the City's e-Procurement Portal. • The bid will remain firm for a period of up to ninety (90) days. • The City will evaluate bids based on factors including price, quality, design, and workmanship. • The Contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
