Description
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is seeking contractors to perform extensive repair and renovation work on the GPDECK Paratransit garage roof and related structures. The scope includes concrete masonry (CMU) repointing, repair, and replacement; flashing, sealant, and coping work on ramp walls; guardrail post repairs; under‑deck rust remediation, painting, and lane striping; and general concrete rehabilitation per specified standards. Access will be provided via conventional boom lifts, with any specialized staging billed separately. Contractors must acknowledge all addenda and submit a complete bid package, with an optional site “last looks” inspection on April 17, 2026.
• CMU masonry work (repoint, repair, replace, vertical control joints)
• Roof‑level flashing, sealant (SK‑A‑01) and coping repairs, including guardrail and base flashing
• Under‑deck rust repair, concrete cleaning, painting, and lane striping per Specs 030140 & 039300
• Mandatory acknowledgment of Addendum 3; no liquidated damages; optional visual site visit only.
