DMS - Drug Testing

The Division of Mine Safety (DMS) is seeking a vendor to provide laboratory drug screens for miner and DMS staff drug testing. The scope of work includes pre-certification testing, post-accident testing, disciplinary testing, and employee testing. The vendor must provide a collection site within 30 minutes of each DMS district office and maintain certification with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The contract will be for a period of 12 months. Key requirements include: • Providing drug testing services for the Division of Mine Safety • Maintaining certification with SAMHSA • Providing a collection site within 30 minutes of each DMS district office • Conducting testing and storage of specimens according to SAMHSA regulations • Providing a Medical Review Officer (MRO) who is a licensed physician • Maintaining records and reporting results to DMS
