DREW PARK AND ROBINWOOD PARK PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Huntington Beach is seeking qualified contractors to demolish existing playground equipment, remove sand and irrigation components, install new sub‑base, concrete curbs, drainage, and install owner‑furnished Playworld playground structures at both Drew Park and Robinwood Park. After the vendor‑installed poured‑in‑place rubberized surfacing is placed by the product supplier, the contractor will return to complete final installation details and demobilize. The work must be performed under a 90‑working‑day schedule and comply with applicable safety, ADA, and environmental standards. • Demolition of existing swings, structures, sand, earth, irrigation lines, a tree and bench. • Installation of new sub‑base, curbs, drainage, and custom Playworld equipment (specific model numbers provided). • Coordination with the surfacing vendor for poured‑in‑place rubberized surfacing; contractor to perform final finish‑up work after surfacing cure. • Mandatory pre‑bid site visits on June 2 2026, 8 am (Robinwood) and 9 am (Drew) and a 5 % mobilization cost cap.
