On-Call Project Water Facilities Electrical Systems and Master Planning Services

The City of Ontario is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call water facilities electrical systems and master planning services for a period of three years, with an option to renew for two consecutive one-year terms. The selected firms will assist the City in developing a master set of electrical guidelines, standard plans, and specifications to support water facilities projects. The scope of services includes evaluating existing design, construction, and commissioning guidelines, improving project delivery methods, and developing standardized sets of design and construction guidelines. The City desires to work with experienced firms that can maintain positive working relationships with City staff and other consultants. • The City is seeking a maximum of three qualified firms to provide on-call services. • The selected firms will be required to have at least eight years of experience in providing similar services. • The firms will be required to provide a detailed scope of services, including a description of their experience, technical competence, and proposed method to accomplish the work. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate the scope of services with the selected firms. • The contract will be administered by the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company, and the successful firms may be assigned to various projects to assist in the operations of different agencies within the City.
