Description
The City of San Antonio is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction services for the River Walk Channel Improvements: Staircase and Sidewalks project. The project consists of repair and rehabilitation of the Riverwalk and other work indicated in the contract documents, including the construction of sidewalks, steps, ramps, retaining walls, handrails, and other work required for the completion of the project. The selected firm will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project.
• The project has a construction cost estimate of $2,869,009.00 for the sidewalk and $320,836.00 for the staircase.
• The project is expected to be completed within 305 calendar days.
• The City is looking for a firm with experience in construction projects similar to this one, as well as experience with green building and sustainability practices.
• The firm will be required to provide a price proposal, which will be evaluated based on the lowest price total including the base proposal, allowances, and all alternates.
• The firm will also be required to submit a statement of qualifications, which will be evaluated based on the firm's experience, background, and qualifications, as well as its understanding of the project and proposed management plan.
