RFQ032861 - Rubber Goods Testing Service and Replacement IQA

The City of Columbus Public Utilities Department is soliciting an Indefinite Quantity Agreement (IQA) to provide testing and replacement services for a wide range of rubber‑based protective equipment used by utility electricians. The vendor must operate a NAIL‑certified laboratory to conduct high‑voltage glove testing and must be able to supply and replace the listed items on a per‑pair or per‑unit basis as needed throughout the contract period. Prices are to be quoted per line item and will be used for any purchase order issued before 30 June 2027. • Testing of low‑voltage, high‑voltage, and various class rubber gloves (per pair). • Testing and replacement of insulating sleeves, rubber blankets, hot sticks, Tel‑O‑Poles, telescoping grip‑alls, and static‑discharge hooks. • Requirement to use a NAIL‑certified lab; all freight is FOB Destination prepaid. • Separate line items for shipping/pick‑up and miscellaneous charges, with all costs required up‑front in the bid.
