The City of Somerville is seeking a vendor (or two vendors) to provide on‑call repair services for its commercial and heavy‑duty fleet vehicles. The contract will be awarded to the two lowest responsive and responsible bidders, with a primary and secondary contractor structure, and will cover a base period of one year with the option to renew for up to two additional one‑year terms. The scope includes all labor, parts, diagnostic equipment, and tire disposal for a fleet of heavy‑duty trucks, with a $50,000 annual budget for parts and an estimated 500 labor hours per year. Vendors must meet living‑wage, insurance, and vehicle‑safety ordinance requirements, and must submit a complete sealed bid package by the revised deadline.
