Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee seeks a qualified mover to provide full moving services for up to 122 households within the Townhomes at Carver Park renovation program. The contractor will inventory, transport, disassemble/reassemble furniture, handle appliances, photograph units, and secure residents’ signatures, with work limited to weekdays 8 AM–4:30 PM and occasional Saturday service. The contract runs from August 1 2022 to August 30 2023, with an option to extend up to four additional one‑year periods. Bidders must submit a signed quotation by August 25 2022 and meet specific insurance and HUD compliance requirements.
• Scope: 2‑, 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑bedroom unit moves (2‑5 moves per week).
• Responsibilities: inventory, single‑day transport, bed/appliance disassembly‑reassembly, resident signatures, unit photography, optional packing, and post‑move clean‑out pricing.
