Wide Area Network (WAN) Services Using Leased Dark Fiber

The Grenada School District is soliciting sealed proposals for Wide Area Network (WAN) services utilizing leased single-mode dark fiber. The project is contingent on E-Rate approval and funding. The selected vendor will provide leased single-mode dark fiber WAN connectivity linking all district locations, including eight sites. The vendor must deliver connections capable of supporting 10 Gbps minimum per site and provide all equipment necessary for service handoff. The contract term is three years with up to seven optional one-year extensions. The district reserves the right to evaluate service, reputation, experience, and product knowledge, and to reject any or all proposals. • The project requires E-Rate approval and funding. • The vendor must have a current USAC SPIN and SPAC. • The vendor must comply with State of Mississippi procurement laws. • The vendor must provide three references for similar installations. • The district reserves the right to award based on best value, not strictly lowest cost.
