25CDM057 CONTRACT REQUEST - AIR HANDLER REPLACEMENT

The State of California, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace air handlers. The contractor must be a certified DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise) and must perform a commercially useful function. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contractor will be responsible for executing a distinct element of the work, carrying out the obligation by actually performing, managing, or supervising the work involved, and performing work that is normal for its business services and functions. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor must submit a bid that includes all required documentation, including a Bidder Declaration and a Confirmation Letter/Form from each DVBE subcontractor. • The contractor must commit to meeting or exceeding the DVBE participation requirement, which is 3% of the contract bid amount. • The contractor must verify each DVBE subcontractor's certification status with the Office of Small Business and DVBE Services (OSDS) prior to submitting bids.
