Description
The State of South Carolina is seeking a contractor to provide mortuary and funeral services, including crematory services, for the Office of Mental Health. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an estimated start date of 1/16/2026 and an end date of 1/15/2031. The contractor will be required to provide services in accordance with the specifications and conditions outlined in the solicitation. Key services include cremation services, burial services, and the provision of oversized steel caskets. The contractor will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to confidentiality and privacy.
• The contractor will be required to provide services in the Anderson, SC area, with burial services to be performed in Columbia, SC.
• The contractor will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to confidentiality and privacy.
• The contractor will be required to provide access to PHI as requested by SCOMH, including to an individual as directed by SCOMH.
• The contractor will be expected to amend PHI as directed or agreed to by SCOMH pursuant to HIPAA requirements.
