Anacostia II WWPS PLC Upgrades project

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is soliciting sealed bids for the Anacostia II WWPS PLC Upgrades project. The project involves replacing, modifying, and upgrading the Distributed Process Control System (DPCS) at the Anacostia #2 Wastewater Pump Station. The work includes installing a new Pumping System PLC panel, upgrading UPS and power panels, replacing instrumentation, modifying RTU, RIO, and motor starters, and performing associated electrical, control, integration, testing, and documentation activities. The contractor will be responsible for full installation, demolition, wiring, coordination, and testing in accordance with WSSC standards. • The project requires a licensed General Contractor in the State of Maryland. • The bidder must have six years of experience in performing work involving construction at a Wastewater Treatment or Wastewater Pumping Station Facility. • The bidder must have completed at least two projects similar in scope and complexity to this work, each with a construction value of $500,000 or greater within the past five years. • The contractor must have a safety plan and provide evidence of an OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) of less than 2.67 for each of the last three years.
