Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System Replacement for BIT

The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking bids for the replacement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems for the Bureau of Information Technology. The contract will involve the furnishing and installation of UPS systems at various locations in the St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix districts. The successful bidder will be required to deliver and install the UPS systems within 30 calendar days of receipt of an official purchase order. The contract period will be 28 weeks, with an option to renew for an additional term subject to the availability of funds. • The contract will require the bidder to provide a non-collusion affidavit, proof of current SAM.gov registration, and a certificate of good standing. • The bidder must also provide a detailed scope of work, including the manufacturer, brand, and model of the UPS systems to be installed. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, with consideration given to the bidder's experience, reputation, and ability to perform the work. • The contract will include a price escalation clause, which will allow the contractor to adjust the contract price in the event of changes in the contractor's purchased price. • The contractor will be required to maintain workmen's compensation insurance and comprehensive general liability insurance, with the Government named as an additional insured.
