Purchase of Maintenance Trucks

Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) is seeking qualified dealers to supply ten (10) brand‑new heavy‑duty maintenance trucks – one “Road‑Call” truck and nine “Stops & Zones” trucks – based on the 2026 Ford F‑450 platform (or approved equal). Each vehicle must be delivered fully equipped with specified mechanical, interior, exterior, and specialty equipment, include a manufacturer’s warranty, and comply with Buy‑America, DBE, and FTA requirements. The contract will be firm‑fixed‑price, with delivery to RTA’s Riverside facility, net‑30 payment terms, and a projected award in April 2026. Bids are submitted electronically via PlanetBids; a pre‑bid conference (virtual) is scheduled but not mandatory. • Provide 1 heavy‑duty “Road‑Call” truck with full utility body, lift gate, spotlights, safety lights, electrical system, lubrication tanks, and related accessories. • Provide 9 “Stops & Zones” trucks each equipped with post puller, stake‑bed, lift gate, extended mirrors, spotlights, and safety lighting. • All trucks must meet CARB certification, include a minimum 36‑month/36,000‑mi warranty for the Road‑Call truck and 12‑month warranty for the other nine trucks, and satisfy 70 % U.S. content Buy‑America compliance.
