Description
The National Park Service is seeking to purchase two 500-gallon septic waste vacuum trailers for use at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The trailers must meet specific requirements, including a capacity of 500 gallons, a 14 HP engine, and a non-collapsible suction hose. The vendor must also provide a warranty and product literature. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price, and the period of performance is 180 calendar days after the contract award effective date.
• The trailers must be trailer-mounted systems with a 2” ball or 3” pintle coupler.
• The trailers must have a dry weight of less than 5,000 lbs and a manway with a 25” side swing.
• The vendor must deliver the trailers fully operational and ready for immediate use.
• The vendor must coordinate delivery logistics and provide an estimated lead time.
• The contract will be awarded to one vendor for all items listed in the characteristics.
