Burglary Monitoring Alarm and Fire Monitoring Alarm

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide burglary monitoring alarm and fire monitoring alarm services for the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for monitoring the burglary systems and one fire alarm system, as well as providing preventive maintenance and emergency call-backs. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with four option years. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in the field of burglary system monitoring and preventive maintenance. Key aspects of the job include: • Burglary system monitoring and preventive maintenance for four sites • Fire alarm monitoring and preventive maintenance for one site • Emergency call-backs for system failures • Scheduled preventive maintenance • Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Government laws • Providing certification that work was approved and accepted by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
