Description
The State of South Carolina is seeking a vendor to rent a Barko 930B industrial mulching machine for use at the Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve. The contract covers delivery, operation, maintenance, and removal of the equipment for an initial one‑month period with an optional second month, plus associated training and parts support. The vendor must be a registered South Carolina supplier and provide fixed unit prices for monthly, weekly, and daily rates, as well as transportation and ancillary costs. The award will be made on the same day as the bid opening, with work to commence shortly thereafter.
• Provide one Barko 930B tractor with 10‑ft Seppi Starforst mulching head, flotation tires, and required hydraulics.
• Deliver to 2575 International Drive, Conway, SC; training, parts, and replacement equipment must be supplied as stipulated.
• Submit fixed‑price quotes (monthly, weekly, daily) via the SCEIS portal by 10:00 am on 28 Aug 2026.
• Vendor must hold appropriate insurance (CGL $1 M, Auto $1 M, Workers’ Comp) and be a registered SC vendor before submission.
