First Responder's Hurricane Safe Room

The City of Foley is seeking bids for the construction of a new 150x80 (9,131 sq. ft.) 200 MPH, FEMA Rated, Hurricane 1st Responder Dual Use Facility with backup generator. The project consists of both building and site construction as identified in the construction documents. This project has to meet the latest version of FEMA 361 Safe Room Guidance and the latest version of ICC-500 requirements for safe rooms. • The facility will be used as a hurricane safe room and a first responder facility. • The project includes construction of a new building and site work. • The facility must meet the latest version of FEMA 361 Safe Room Guidance and the latest version of ICC-500 requirements for safe rooms. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on November 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CST. • Bids are due on December 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CST.
