8842 - Southwest Commuter Path & West Washington Avenue Traffic Signal

City of Madison is seeking qualified contractors to replace traffic signal infrastructure and associated sidewalks on the Southwest Commuter Path and West Washington Avenue. The work includes removal of existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons, installation of new traffic signal bases, conduit installation, demolition of concrete sidewalks and ramps, and construction of new sidewalks and ramps to meet modern standards. The contract also covers electrical trenching, conduit placement, and removal of existing traffic signal bases and poles. • Remove existing beacons and traffic signal components • Install new traffic signal bases, conduit, and related electrical work • Demolish and replace concrete sidewalks and ramps (≈950 SF) • Provide related civil works (curb ramps, electrical trenching, handholes) • Follow City of Madison specifications and plan sets (see attached documents)
