RFP# 92272 - Events and Temporary Staffing Services

The University of Maryland Global Campus is seeking proposals from staffing firms specializing in Event and Temporary Staffing for Commencement Services. The selected firm will provide event staff for the University's Commencement ceremonies, fairs, and temporary on-site staffing on an as-needed basis throughout the year. The firm should have experience in placing similar staff in the metropolitan Washington, DC area and be able to provide a high level of customer service. The contract will be for one year with three one-year renewal options. • The firm will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and selecting event and temporary staff. • The firm will provide training and preparation of staff prior to commencement events. • The firm will track staff attendance, hours worked, and timekeeping. • The firm will provide onsite supervision and management structure during events. • The firm will ensure staff arrive on time, remain for assigned shifts, and adhere to dress code and conduct requirements. • The firm will provide a back-up and contingency plan in case of staff absences or emergency situations.
