RFP for Construction Management Services for the WWTF Headworks Improvements Project

The City of Watsonville is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction management and inspection services for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Headworks and Influent Pump Station Improvements Project. The project includes the construction of a new influent pump station, a screening structure, a shaftless screw conveyor, a new vortex grit chamber, and a new Headworks electrical building. The selected firm will provide pre-bid services, construction management, and inspection services throughout the duration of the project. • The project has an estimated construction cost of $32 to $40 million. • The City has applied for and been awarded a $37 million Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan. • The project is expected to start in August/September 2026 and be completed in approximately 30 months. • The selected firm will be required to provide a cost proposal, including estimated personnel hours and hourly billing rates. • The City will evaluate proposals based on the firm's approach, experience, knowledge, and references related to the specific scope of work requested.
