Correction: Self Pay Bad Debt and Estate Collections

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking vendors to provide self pay bad debt and estate collections services. The selected vendors will work with NYC Health + Hospitals to identify insurance for referred claims, enroll patients in eligible insurance programs, and collect payments from patients. The vendors will also be responsible for providing regular reports and updates to NYC Health + Hospitals. The scope of work includes: • Self Pay Bad Debt collections • Estate Collections • NYC Health + Hospitals Corporate Collections The vendors will be required to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including HIPAA and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. They will also be expected to provide excellent customer service and work closely with NYC Health + Hospitals staff to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
