Bid Posting Date: June 27,2024 Project: Request for Qualifications - City of Valdez Rural Road Assessments RFQ Due: - July 18, 2024 at 2:00pm local time The range of services includes, but is not limited to: The purpose of this document is to solicit qualifications from professional engineering consultants to make an in-person assessment of the unpaved and rural road conditions in Valdez, Alaska and provide recommendations regarding repairs, upgrades, and future maintenance. Engineers estimates for each road and recommendation as well as recommended phasing will be the final deliverable for this phase of work. Submissions will be accepted through July 18, 2024 at 2 :00pm local time Submit (1) electronic copy of your Statement of Qualifications via the City’s drop box application: Box.com Access to the electronic drop box must be requested via email to Domonique Alex with a CC to Nathan Duval no later than one business day prior to submission the deadline. Failure to request access in advance may disqualify a firm’s submission. Access can be requested well in advance of the deadline. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. The City of Valdez “ Standard Specifications and Standard Details ” shall be used.
