Redding DPW Generator, Transfer Switch & Fuel System Replacement

The purpose of this project is to replace the Redding Department of Public Works generator system, transfer switch, and fuel system to power the facility during times of lost utility power. The project involves removing and disposing of existing equipment and fittings, providing a new 40kW generator with an integrated 100-gallon diesel fuel cell and transfer switch, and furnishing and installing all required equipment and fittings for installation of appliances. The project also requires testing all systems for functionality and compliance with CT Building Code and Manufacturer’s Installation Instructions and Recommendations.
