2026 Beyond the Horizon Open House Maxwell AFB - Master Concessionaire

The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL is seeking sources to provide Master Concessionaire Services at the 2026 Beyond The Horizon Open House and Airshow event at Maxwell AFB, AL. The contractor will be responsible for providing food, beverages, and novelty items during the event. The estimated attendance is 100,000 for the weekend. The contractor will have exclusive rights to sell items during the event under specified conditions. Some key requirements include: • Providing food, non-alcoholic beverages, and novelty resale items during the event • Having the capability to supply sufficient concession tents and booths to meet the high volume demands of the open house crowds • Providing adequate management personnel to oversee all concession operations • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations • Providing insurance coverage with defined minimum liability limits • Coordinating with the Base Health Inspection Office for food and beverage preparation procedures • Providing a list of suppliers to the Contracting Officer 30 days before the open house • Ensuring all food sold under this contract adheres to AFI 48-116 and base directives
