Contracted Information Technology Support

The Episcopal Children’s Services (ECS4Kids) is seeking a managed information technology/security service provider to act as a chief technology officer (CTO) for an initial term of 12 months, with the option to renew for three additional 12-month periods. The CTO will oversee the information technology and cyber security program for ECS4Kids, working with the VP of Information Technology and other existing staff. The successful respondent will provide a plan for the CTO or a delegate to be available 24/7/365 on an as-needed basis. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership and planning, operational improvement and implementation support, collaboration and relationship management, governance, compliance, and budgeting, as well as continuity and staffing support. • The CTO will collaborate with the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer (CSIO) and Senior Leadership to develop and refine long-term IT strategies. • The CTO will conduct assessments of current IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization. • The CTO will provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data governance. • The CTO will recommend and help implement improvements to IT operations, including systems integration, process automation, and service delivery enhancements. • The CTO will establish a strong working relationship with the Vice President of IT to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
