Description
The County of Kauai is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of five (5) each 30 cubic yard combination hooklift/cable hoist roll-off containers for the Department of Public Works, Division of Solid Waste. The containers must meet specific minimum specifications, including being new or of current production model, having a maximum size of 22' L x 7.5' W x 77" H, and being compatible with the 2016 Palfinger Hooklift Model T40L. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering the containers within 160 calendar days of notice to proceed.
• The containers must have a minimum of 7/16" or 10mm plate for the side walls and floor.
• The containers must have a single door with a locking mechanism and a stabilizing cross bar.
• The containers must have ladders on the front and rear on both sides.
• The manufacturer must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in the fabrication of roll-off containers.
• The containers must meet all applicable federal, state of Hawaii, and County of Kauai safety requirements.
