PLANNING CONSULTING SERVICES POOL

The City of Dania Beach is seeking qualified planning consultants to form a pre-approved pool capable of providing professional planning services on an as-needed basis. The selected firms will be engaged to support a variety of planning activities, including long-range planning, development review, zoning analysis, land-use studies, public engagement, urban design support, and other related tasks. The City is looking for firms with demonstrated experience, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of municipal planning practices. The scope of work includes development application review, variance processing, certificates of use review, zoning inspections, grant assistance, and specialized planning projects. The consultant will operate under the direction of the Community Development Department and will be assigned work based on departmental needs. • Key services: development application review, variance processing, certificates of use review, zoning inspections, grant assistance, and specialized planning projects • Required qualifications: minimum 5 years of planning experience, AICP certification, and LEED GA (preferred) • Evaluation criteria: qualifications and experience, technical approach, capacity and resources, and past performance and references
