Median Landscape & Hardscape Maintenance Program

The City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals for a median maintenance program to maintain approximately 13 miles of landscaped and hardscaped street medians, including roundabouts within the city limits. The program includes services such as weed control, litter and debris removal, mulch, pruning/trimming, irrigation observation and minor adjustments, hardscape cleaning, seasonal planting and replacements, traffic control, record-keeping, and IPM reporting. The successful proposer will demonstrate evidence of meeting the performance standards and qualifications listed in the specification document. • The contract will be for a one-year term with the option to renew annually. • The proposer will provide all tools, equipment, materials, tax, apparatus, facilities, labor, transportation, supervision, and management to complete the work. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or minor defects in proposals received. • The evaluation criteria include adherence to RFP requirements, firm background information, firm qualifications, expertise, and experience, team qualifications, expertise, and experience, technical approach and work plan, and cost proposal.
