Description
The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala City is seeking a firm‑fixed‑price contractor to provide preventive maintenance for its potable water treatment plant. The effort covers routine inspections, cleaning, testing, and minor adjustments of the treatment system, pumps, VFDs, electrical panels, and associated instrumentation. The contractor must follow NSF, AWWA, OSHA, NFPA, ASTM, IEEE, NEMA, UL, and manufacturer O&M standards, and must be registered in SAM prior to submission. The base contract is for one year with four optional one‑year extensions, and the work includes logistics, customs, shipping, labor, and management support but excludes major corrective repairs or the supply of chemicals unless quoted separately.
