RFP-27-005 Contracted Employee Services

The Union County Board of Education is seeking a contractor to provide contracted employee services for designated district positions. The contractor will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employing, compensating, insuring, training, supporting, and retaining qualified personnel. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms. The contractor will be required to provide personnel for various positions, including substitute teachers, custodians, secretaries, and medical staff. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining personnel records, providing employee relations support, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Some key requirements for the contractor include: • Maintaining an active recruitment program to attract and retain qualified personnel • Providing a written recruitment and retention plan • Ensuring that all personnel assigned to the district meet the required qualifications and certifications • Providing training to personnel on topics such as bloodborne pathogens, FERPA data privacy, and mandated reporting of suspected child abuse • Maintaining confidentiality of student records and personnel information • Cooperating with the district in evaluating the performance of personnel assigned under the contract.
