Description
This solicitation establishes a price‑based Job Order Contract (JOC) for flooring and installation services across Western Kentucky University’s main campus and its satellite locations. The contract will award a minimum of three separate price contracts, each covering labor, materials, permits, bonds, and associated supervision for flooring‑related projects not exceeding $1 million per job. The initial term is one year with the option to renew for up to five additional one‑year periods. Vendors must be Kentucky‑resident contractors, provide required bonding, insurance, licensing, and must submit hourly labor rates, material and subcontract mark‑ups, overhead and profit percentages. Bids are submitted electronically via the Unimarket system.
• Scope: furnish labor, materials, equipment, permits, and supervision for new flooring installations, repairs, demolition, and removal.
• Contract size: individual jobs ≤ $1 M; projects ≥ $40 k require three‑quote competition; projects <$40 k may be awarded directly.
• Requirements: Kentucky resident, 125‑mile radius, valid contractor license, insurance minimums, performance & payment bonds for jobs > $40 k, three references, site visit prior to bidding.
