Description
The Nevada State Purchasing Division is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide Taxonomic Identification and Enumeration of Aquatic Macroinvertebrates, Taxonomic Identification and Enumeration of Periphyton Samples, Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) of Selected Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Samples, and QA/QC of Selected Periphyton Samples. The selected laboratory will receive up to 50 preserved and site-composited macroinvertebrate and periphyton samples per year for up to a four-year period. The scope of work includes identification and enumeration of biological samples, post-analysis process, and QA/QC tasks.
• The contract term is expected to be for four years, subject to Board of Examiners approval.
• The State intends to award up to two contracts in conjunction with this request for proposals.
• The resulting contract(s) will be administered by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection/Bureau of Water Quality Planning.
• Proposals will be accepted on all or any combination of the four tasks described above.
