Syft Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry System

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source contract to Syft Technologies Inc. for the procurement of a Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry (SIFT-MS) system. The system must provide real-time quantification of compounds at parts-per-trillion levels, direct, reagent-ion chemistry-based analysis, automated, high-throughput sample handling, and integrated software for continuous monitoring and data reporting. • The system must be capable of real-time, direct-injection mass spectrometric analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile compounds, and trace-level contaminants without sample preparation. • The system must provide real-time quantification of compounds at parts-per-trillion levels. • The system must use direct, reagent-ion chemistry-based analysis. • The system must have automated, high-throughput sample handling. • The system must have integrated software for continuous monitoring and data reporting.
