The City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified firm to provide Owner's Advisor and design services for the Mercy West Advanced Treatment System (MWATS) project. The project involves the design and construction of an advanced treatment facility to reduce antibiotic-resistant bacteria and other contaminants in hospital wastewater. The selected firm will provide technical and project management support to the City during all phases of the project lifecycle, including study, planning, design, and construction. The scope of work includes preparation of design-builder-operator RFP specifications and bid documents, site preparation design and bid documents, and support for the procurement process. The project has a 13% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) inclusion goal.
Some key points to consider:
• The project is expected to last for approximately 3 years, with two possible 1-year extensions.
• The City is committed to increasing the participation of SBEs in all aspects of its contracting.
• The selected firm will be required to demonstrate an understanding of MSDGC's SBE Program tenets and a commitment to using certified SBE firms on MSDGC work where possible and feasible.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to waive any technicalities, and to select the Offeror who, in the City's judgment, is most qualified.
