Description
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking to purchase three 16' custom aluminum boats, two 50hp tiller drive outboard motors, and one 40hp jet drive outboard motor, along with three aluminum boat trailers for the Law Enforcement Division. The boats must meet specific requirements, including a minimum .100-gauge 5086 Marine Grade alloy aluminum construction, I-beam longitudinal ribs, and a step stern design. The motors must be compatible with the boats and have a horsepower rating of 50hp for the tiller drive motors and 40hp for the jet drive motor. The trailers must fit the boats without needing modifications and have a capacity to safely transport the boat and motor.
• The contract will commence upon issuance of a contract by TPWD and automatically expire upon delivery and final acceptance by TPWD.
• The vendor must contact TPWD to schedule an inspection of the assembled boat packages prior to delivery.
• The vendor is responsible for all costs of bid preparation.
• The bid response must include the IFB form, signed, dated, and completed, as well as descriptive literature and product specification sheets.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value to TPWD, considering factors such as price, ability, qualifications, and experience.
