22 Bus Stop Improvements

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a contractor to provide construction and improvement services for 22 bus stops in Lee County, Florida. The project includes ADA compliance and associated sidewalk improvements. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills, and incidentals required to complete the project. The project involves various tasks such as mobilization, maintenance of traffic, sediment barrier installation, clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, concrete sidewalk and driveway construction, and installation of detectable warnings, bike racks, and trash receptacles. • The project requires compliance with Federal Grant Requirements, 2 CFR part 200, and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations. • The contractor must register with and use the federal E-Verify system to confirm the employment eligibility of all new hires. • The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and pay prevailing wages to workers. • The contractor must provide a bid bond and performance bond. • The contractor must have experience with similar projects and provide references. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
