Description
The Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is seeking vendors to provide Elevator Full Service Maintenance, Testing, and Repair Services for the Olympic Region in Washington State. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, from the date of execution through 12/31/2030. The successful bidder will be required to provide timely communication and a collaborative approach to ensure the highest level of service for Washington State Eligible Purchasers. The scope of work includes Elevator Full Service Maintenance Services, Preventative Maintenance, Elevator Testing & Audit Services, Documentation & Logging of Service Visits, Repair Services, Elevator Standby Services, and Timely and Excellent Customer Service.
• The contract will be awarded to up to 5 main awardees and up to 3 reserved awardees.
• The contract term is from the date of execution through 12/31/2030.
• The pricing will be based on a Not-To-Exceed (NTE) rate, with a percentage markup above actual costs.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide insurance, including Commercial General Liability Insurance, Workers' Compensation Insurance, and Professional Liability Insurance.
• The contract will include a Vendor Management Fee (VMF) of 1.25% of contract sales, which will be due 30 days after the invoice is received.
