St. Charles Maintenance Shed Demolition

The Missouri Department of Transportation - St. Louis is seeking bids from qualified suppliers to demolish and clean up an existing 30’x100’ cold storage building and a 12’x18’ storage shed. The project address is 2360 S. Old Hwy 94, St. Charles, MO 63303. The awarded contractor will have 30 working days to complete the project once notice to proceed has been issued. The scope of work includes removing the cold storage building and shed, backfilling and compacting with MoDOT-provided 1” minus material, and disposing of the structure and materials in a proper manner. The supplier is responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials to complete the project, as well as obtaining necessary permits and notifications. • Remove the cold storage building, including all footings, and dispose of the structure and materials in a proper manner. • Remove the shed, including the concrete pad, and dispose of the structure and materials in a proper manner. • Backfill and compact with MoDOT-provided 1” minus material to match the surrounding grade. • Obtain necessary permits and notifications, including demo permits and NESHAP notifications. • Contact dig-rite for utility disconnections.
