Description
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division is seeking a qualified firm for professional services to prepare an Airport Layout Plan (ALP) Update with Narrative and an 18B Obstruction Survey for the Muleshoe Municipal Airport. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a target market and SWOT analysis, establishing objectives, creating a public outreach program, and developing airside and landside facility requirements. The firm will also be required to update aviation demand forecasts, determine current and future critical design aircraft, and evaluate the highest and best uses of airport property.
• The firm must have experience in airport planning and development, including similar projects within the last 10 years.
• The firm must have the necessary resources to perform all required services, including planning, surveying, and CAD.
• The firm must have a proposed project schedule that indicates the number of weeks necessary to complete each phase and the total time to complete the project.
• The firm must have a proposed technical approach that shows specific understanding and familiarity with the particular requirements of this project.
• The firm must have a certification that it is not listed in Section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act, Section 1260H of the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act, or owned by the government of a country on the U.S. Department of Commerce’s foreign adversaries list.
