Refuse Services at Kahului Harbor

The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors, is seeking a contractor to provide refuse collection and disposal services at Kahului Harbor, Maui. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment, rubbish bins, and other appurtenances necessary to collect and dispose of refuse. The contract term is 52 weeks, with an option to extend for two additional 52-week periods. The contractor must provide liability insurance with minimum coverage limits and comply with all applicable state and federal statutes. • The contractor will be required to collect and dispose of refuse from one 10-cubic-yard rubbish bin at Kahului Harbor on a weekly basis. • The contractor must ensure that bins are in serviceable condition and replace any bin deemed unserviceable by the State. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance with minimum insurance coverage limits. • The contractor must comply with all applicable state and federal statutes, including those related to labor, transportation, and environmental protection.
