Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department for Facilities and Support Services, is soliciting bids for the RFB-278-26 FSS- TCOB Roof Project. The project consists of selective roof overlay and full roof replacement areas at the Transportation Cabinet Office Building in Frankfort, Kentucky. The work includes removing existing roofing, reconstructing substrate assemblies, and installing new roofing materials. A site visit is scheduled for 06/09/2026 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system.
• The project requires a cold-applied 2-ply modified bitumen membrane over 1/2" cover board.
• Existing aluminum coping caps will remain in designated areas, while new pre-finished metal coping caps will be installed in others.
• New stainless steel expansion joint flashings will be installed at existing locations.
• Bidders must register in the Commonwealth eProcurement System via the Vendor Self Service (VSS) System.
• The bid closing date is 07/02/2026, and the bid opening will be held on the same day at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
