Budget estimate

$400,000 – $500,000

The estimated budget for this contract can be based on the average cost of newborn screening tests. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the average cost of a newborn screening test is around $100. With an estimated annual workload of 900 newborn screenings, the total annual budget would be around $90,000. Considering the contract is for a base period of one year and four one-year options, the total budget for the five-year period would be around $450,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the specific requirements of the contract and the rates negotiated with the contractor.
