Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Yard requires services to perform ultrasonic side scan testing for upcoming vessels scheduled for the U.S. Coast Guard Yard availability. The work consists of providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, planning, and other items necessary to perform ultrasonic side scan testing services. The contractor shall provide ultrasonic side scan testing services with suitable side scan equipment to conduct a “Scanning Crawler Automated Test” of the vessel’s underwater hull, freeboard plating, decks, tanks, and other various areas for the presence of metal corrosion and deterioration.
• The contract is for a base period of 12 months and four option periods of 12 months each.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform the services.
• The services must be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, MD.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contract will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.
