Description
Western Kentucky University seeks one or more law firms to serve as its outside counsel for a broad portfolio of legal matters over a five‑year initial term, with the possibility of up to five one‑year extensions. The university will allocate individual matters as they arise, covering litigation, transactional, and advisory services across many practice areas.
• Litigation support includes civil‑rights, employment, appellate, construction, contract, and internal university hearings.
• Transactional services span real‑estate, mergers, PPPs, construction contracts, antitrust, data‑privacy, IP, technology transfer, and compliance with higher‑education regulations.
• Optional education/training services for university staff and flat‑fee pricing options for IP, immigration, FCC licensing, collections, and unemployment hearings.
