Winona State University is seeking a qualified vendor to operate its campus bookstore and provide comprehensive retail services, including new and used textbook sales, rentals, digital textbook delivery, custom printing of course packets, and integration with the university’s Learning Management System (D2L). The contract will require the vendor to manage the physical store year‑round, maintain extended hours during peak registration periods, operate an online ordering platform, support faculty adoption processes, and comply with PCI‑DSS security standards. The vendor must also provide detailed sales data integration, uphold university branding, and contribute to student affordability initiatives through commission and pricing structures. • Operate the on‑site “WSU Bookstore” (Kryzsko Commons) 12 months/yr, with extended hours during registration and special events. • Provide full suite of textbook services: new/used sales, rentals, digital access, custom printing, buy‑back, and inclusive‑access programs. • Integrate ordering and adoption workflows with D2L Brightspace and the university’s SIS, delivering daily transaction data via API/CSV and supporting credit‑limit management. • Maintain PCI‑DSS compliance, submit monthly revenue statements, and pay a commission to the university based on gross sales tiers. • Offer value‑added services such as promotional pricing, student‑focused events, and sustainability initiatives while adhering to university policies and branding guidelines.
