Honore Avenue Reclaimed Water Main Extension Ph 2B

The County is seeking a contractor to furnish and install approximately 5500 linear feet of reclaimed water transmission main. The project includes 20-inch and 8-inch horizontal directional drill installations and a 20-inch jack and bore in a 36-inch casing. The contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with the project, including pre-construction and post-construction videos, maintenance of traffic, temporary pavement, erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing, protection of existing trees, excavation, backfilling, dewatering, shoring and bracing, and all incidentals and appurtenances required to complete the installation. The key aspects of the project include: • Reclaimed water transmission main installation • Horizontal directional drilling • Jack and bore method • Maintenance of traffic and erosion control • Protection of existing utilities and trees • Excavation and backfilling • Dewatering and shoring The contractor will be paid based on the actual number of linear feet of reclaimed water main furnished and installed, and the payment will include all costs associated with the project.
