Description
Luzerne County is seeking proposals from qualified companies for Flag Holders. The contract will be for one year, from the date of contract award through December 31, 2026. The anticipated contract start date is January 12, 2026. The Flag Holders are to be made of aluminum with 20” rods and are state-approved. They will be painted gold in color with two coats of oil-based paint and two coats of clear lacquer. There are to be three lugs on the back of each Flag Holder extending 1-3/8”. The top and middle lugs will have two holes each, and the bottom lug will have one hole. The rod will be aluminum, 3/8” in diameter, and 20” overall length, with one end pointed to fit the holder and hammered at the threaded end to attach the rod firmly to the holder.
• The Flag Holders are for the Veteran Affairs Department.
• The contract period is one year, with the anticipated start date being January 12, 2026.
• The Flag Holders must meet specific specifications, including being made of aluminum and having three lugs on the back.
• The successful bidder must submit two Flag Holder samples with their bid.
• The delivery date will be no later than May 1, 2026, with subsequent orders upon request.
